The Fall 2011 BIArch Conversations series aims to bring the current theoretical dissertations being developed at the Barcelona Institute of Architecture to the public scene. Visiting professors of the 2011-2012 MBIArch master’s program will be led by one of the members of the BIArch academic body to discuss the ideas, topics and methodologies they are researching in an effort to explore new perspectives.
The first Conversation will be between architect Cecilia Puga and BIArch’s Head of Graduate Studies, architect Clara Solà-Morales. Puga, a Visiting Professor at the Barcelona Institute of Architecture and principal of Ce Arquitectura based in Santiago de Chile, is currently leading a short design studio with students in the MBIArch Master’s Program.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 22 at 7pm at L’Entresol – Sala Jujol of La Pedrera (Passeig de Gràcia, 92). Seating is limited and previous confirmation is required, with a registration fee of four euros. Please visit www.biarch.eu/event to make your reservation.
