The final installment of the Fall 2011 BIArch Conversations series will be held on Monday, December 19th, between Visiting Professor Yoshiharu Tsukamoto and Ferran Grau, Program Coordinator at the Barcelona Institute of Architecture. Tsukamoto is the co-founder of Tokyo-based Atelier Bow Wow, with interests and research ranging from architectural design to urban research and the creation of public artwork. Associate Professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, he has been a visiting lecturer at both Harvard University GSD and UCLA and is currently leading the short design studio titled “Catalan Metabolism” at BIArch.
The Conversations series aim to bring the current theoretical dissertations being developed in the 2011-2012 MBIArch master’s program to the public, with four of this Fall’s Visiting Professors being led by one of the members of the BIArch academic body to discuss the ideas, topics and methodologies they are researching in an effort to explore new perspectives.
The event will take place on Monday, December 19 at 7:00pm in L’Entresol – Sala Jujol of La Pedrera (Passeig de Gràcia, 92). *The seating capacity for this event has been reached and registration is now closed.
