Pep Avilés (ETSAB, 2000) is an architect and historian interested in the interaction between technology, material production, and architecture culture after the Second World War. His architectural and academic work has been published in magazines such as Footprint, Circo, Lars, and Bauwelt among others. He holds a Master’s degree in History and Theories of Art and Architecture from the school of architecture in Barcelona (ETSAB) and a Master in Arts degree from Princeton University. A visiting scholar at Columbia University in 2006, he is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Princeton University. He has worked as an architect in Spain, Switzerland, and England and continues his independent practice between Barcelona and New York.
